The bear that entered the local population of Rawalpindi Bhata Chowk was caught after 3 days, SHO Naseerabad Police Station Nadeem Zafar traced the bear, the bear was handed over to the Wildlife Department.
Police said that the bear was present in the densely populated area of Bhatta Chowk for 3 days and various resources were being used to find it.
SHO Naseerabad Police Station Nadeem Zafar traced the bear with the help of CCTV cameras installed in the area and handed it over to the Wildlife Department.
The citizens were panicking due to the presence of the bear in the area, the wildlife department staff said that the bear will be kept in safe custody and will be released in the forest when the condition improves.
