Lahore: In view of terrorism concerns, CTD arrested 7 terrorists during intelligence-based operations in different cities of Punjab.
According to CTD spokesman, the operation was conducted in Gujranula, Sargodha, Fasilabad and Bahalpur.
2 main ISIS commanders Shahid and Saif were arrested from Gujranullah. Explosive material, hand grenade, detonator, mobile phone, arms and cash were recovered from the terrorists.
The terrorists were identified as Fayyaz, Mulla Kazim, Shahid, Saif, Rafeeh, Arabi and Qari Athar against whom the investigation is ongoing after registering cases.
65 suspects were arrested during 240 combing operations this week. 12230 people were questioned in the combing operations.
According to officials, CTD is committed to rooting out the scourge of terrorism, pursuing the goal of a safe Punjab.
