The Anti-Terrorism Court has ordered the PTI chairman’s sisters to be investigated today.
Imran Khan’s sisters Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan reached the court after their interim bail expired. Earlier, the court had extended the interim bail till date in 4 different cases.
Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan’s bail hearing was conducted by Anti-Terrorism Court Administrator Judge Abhar Gul. In the tragedy of May 9, Jinnah House attack case, the court inquired whether the investigation involving Aleema Khan and Uzmi Khan had been done?, on which the investigating officer said that the investigation involved has not been done yet.
Aleema Khan said in the court during the hearing that we are requesting them to conduct an inclusive investigation. Uzma Khan said that we have the right to be allowed to speak in front of the court. Since when have we been saying that we should be investigated.
The court inquired that you tell when you have to go to them, to which Uzma Khan replied that we have been making rounds for 3 months but we are not being investigated.
The judge directed the investigating officers to conduct an investigation including Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan today, saying that I have to finalize the case, the police should complete the investigation and submit a report.
