Islamabad: The High Court has extended the order to stop Advocate Iman Mazari from being taken out of Islamabad till Monday.
The hearing on Iman Mazari’s case details and security bail application was held in front of Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb in the Islamabad High Court, in which Interior Ministry officials appeared before the court.
During the hearing, the court inquired whether you have asked for the details of the cases filed against Iman Mazari in the provinces. , on which the officials of the Ministry of Interior said that a case has been registered against Iman Mazari in Islamabad. The federal government cannot give orders to the provinces in such matters.
Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb said, “How are you talking?” We have asked only to get information.
The Assistant Attorney General told the court that the order was received late, some time should be given, to which lawyer Salman Akram Raja said that we are afraid that he will be arrested again from outside the Adiala Jail.
The court inquired from the Assistant Attorney General that what are the instructions to the Ministry of Interior? He is in jail, investigate, submit a challan, get a trial. Tell the interior secretary what is the court order in the case of Iman Mazari.
Later, the court extended the order to stop Advocate Iman Mazari from being taken out of Islamabad till Monday and ordered the Interior Secretary, IG and FIA not to take Iman Mazari out of Islamabad. Islamabad High Court Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb also extended the order not to arrest Iman Mazari in any incident after August 20.
The court ordered that the interior secretary take the details of the cases against Iman Mazari from the provinces and inform the court by Monday. The hearing of the case was adjourned till Monday.
