Gujarat: In the city of Gujarat, Punjab, the American woman was burnt alive by her husband.
According to the details, Rashida, a 42-year-old resident of Model Town in Gujarat, was set on fire by her husband by sprinkling petrol on her house, causing 65% burns to her body.
The woman was taken to the hospital by her son and others in critical condition where she succumbed to her injuries.
In the statement given to the police, the son said that the mother had recently returned from America and remarried the tenant.
The police registered a case against the son and formed teams to arrest the accused.
