They will give birth to a government that can control the monster of inflation and start the era of development and prosperity.

Nawaz Sharif will make electricity cheaper as Prime Minister, Khurram Dastgir

The central leader of Pakistan Muslim League (N) and former Federal Minister for Energy Engineer Khurram Dastgir Khan has said that the record of Muslim League (N) in getting Pakistan out of the energy crisis is excellent.

In one of his statements, he said that the Muslim League (N) government established in 2013 under the leadership of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif brought Pakistan out of the electricity and gas crisis and ended electricity load-shedding during his tenure. The group of judges who disqualified Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in 2017, dealt a blow to Pakistan’s economic stability and democracy.

Khuram Dastgir said that after a long conspiracy, Imran Khan was imposed on the people of Pakistan. In 2019, Imran Khan made an anti-poor and anti-development agreement with the IMF, as a result of which the government of Pakistan controlled the currency. ended and due to the incompetence of the Imran government, the price of electricity continued to rise.

He said that the revolving debt, which was increasing at the rate of 110 billion rupees per year during the Muslim League (N) period, increased at the rate of 350 billion per year during the period of Imran Khan, as a result of which, on March 31, 2022, electricity in Pakistan will be cut off. The revolving credit was the highest level in history at 2467 billion rupees.

He said that the 15-party government under the leadership of Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif reduced the circulating debt by 157 billion rupees, which was 2310 billion rupees on June 30, 2023. Pakistan’s electricity generation increased by 5000 MW, the highlight of which is the new 2000 MW Thar coal-fired power project.

The former federal minister said that for the future of Pakistan, the completion of large projects of electricity generated from Pakistani Thar coal is very important and welcome. It was stalled and was completed during Shahbaz Sharif’s tenure and started supplying electricity to Pakistan.

He said that due to Imran Khan’s anti-poor agreement with the IMF in April 2019, the price of electricity has repeatedly increased, the main responsibility still lies with Saqib Nisar group, which has helped to unbalance Pakistan. Played a sinister role – Orange Line and Pakistan’s key energy projects were delayed due to some judges’ decisions.

Khurram Dastgir said that if the 13-party alliance had not taken over the government in 2022 under a constitutional process, then Imran Khan would have bankrupted the country. will bring down inflation, make electricity cheaper and create cheaper sources of electricity and once again provide Pakistanis with price stability and decent employment to feed their families.
