According to Prof. Mazharul Haq, people of all ages are suffering from eye disease in different districts of Karachi. This eye disease spreads from one person to another.
Explaining the symptoms of the disease, he said that the common symptoms of this disease include watery eyes, redness and itching, wearing glasses does not affect the spread of the disease.
The head of Ophthalmology, Civil Hospital, explaining the preventive measures, said that it is necessary to clean the discharge from the eyes well, the affected person should clean the eyes with a tissue or a clean and soft cloth. The affected person should keep his towel, soap and pillow separately.
