Four accused in the case of death of young girl Fatima due to violence in Peer’s Haveli in Ranipur have been released by the police.
Among those released are SHO Ameer Chang, Dr. Fattah Memon, Dr. Ali Hasan Wasan and Compounder Imtiaz Merasi.
The investigating officer has claimed that the four accused were released on presenting evidence of their innocence.
He said that the four suspects are still under investigation but have been released from police custody.
It should be noted that the four persons were accused of concealing facts, concealing crimes and neglecting their duties.
The court extended the physical remand of the main accused Asad Shah by 3 days yesterday.
