A teacher of a government school in Rawalpindi allegedly assaulted a ninth grade student and seriously injured her.
A female teacher in the Government Girls High School in Sadiqabad’s Muslim Town area hit and seriously injured the ninth grade student Alishba Bashir with sticks for making a mistake in her school work.
The victim of the violence suffered deep injuries on her head and arms. The father of the victim has accused the female teacher of torturing her daughter with sticks.
According to the school administration, the officials of the Rawalpindi Education Department and the District Education Officer have been informed in writing about the incident.
The administration says that the concerned female teacher has been suffering from mental stress for a long time, but the investigation into the incident has been started. The parents of the victim student have also been informed to join the investigation.
The parents of the victim student have alleged that the teacher hit their daughter with sticks due to a mistake in the school work, due to which the girl suffered severe injuries on her head and arms.
