Karachi: The administration of Federal Urdu University has presented a comparative assessment of fees with other government universities in Karachi, claiming that the fees of Jamia Urdu University are lower than the other three government universities.
The administration of the Federal University of Urdu has compared the fees with the three public universities of Karachi including University of Karachi, Sindh Madrasaul Islam University and Lyari University.
The comparative review was provided to the media in the press conference organized by Urdu University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Ziauddin. In which there is no room for error.
According to the comparative report, Urdu University is charging 15,600 rupees per semester after the increase in the Arabic department from the students enrolled in 2023, while the department fee is 18,000 per semester in University of Karachi.
Similarly, the fee of Urdu University of English department is 15600, while that of University of Karachi is 24 thousand and that of Lyari University is Rs.
The fee of Federal University of Urdu department is 15600, University of Karachi is 18 thousand and Lyari is 22 thousand rupees per semester. Semester is charging 15600 rupees while the fee of Jamia is 24 thousand and Lyari University has set this fee at 22 thousand rupees.
In the department of Psychology, the fee of Urdu University is Rs.15600 per semester and University of Karachi is Rs.24 thousand, the fee of Urdu University of B.Ed is Rs.29400, University of Karachi is Rs.24 thousand and Lyari University is Rs.22 thousand. Both universities are charging higher fees.
Urdu University fee for BS Commerce is 22500, University of Karachi is Rs.32500 and Lyari is Rs.22 thousand, in Environmental Science Urdu University fee is Rs.30350 and University of Karachi is Rs.48500.
The fee of Urdu University for chemistry department is 29400 rupees per semester and University of Karachi is 30 thousand rupees. University of Karachi is charging low fees in the field.
Urdu University fee of microbiology department is 29400 rupees and University of Karachi fee is 30 thousand rupees per semester. The fee of Urdu University for LLB is 78 thousand rupees while the fee of University of Karachi is 65500 rupees, Urdu University is charging more fees in this department as well.
In BBA, Urdu University is charging Rs.43200 per semester, Jamia Karachi Rs.78500, Sindh Madrasat-ul-Islam Rs.65500 while Lyari University is charging Rs.25300. In the field of computer science, Urdu University is taking Rs 44850, Karachi University Rs 60500, Sindh Madrasa Rs 59 thousand and Lyari University Rs 25300 per semester.
In the field of Pharmacy, the fee of Urdu University is Rs 68750, University of Karachi is Rs 54500 and Lyari is Rs 50500 per semester.
