Lahore: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Political Secretary Sajjad Ali was rescued from near Zaman Park.
A hearing was held in the Lahore High Court on the request for the recovery of Chairman PTI’s Political Secretary Sajjad Ali Khan. SSP Dr. Anush and other officers appeared in the court. The police produced Sajjad Ali Khan in the court. The police told the court that the accused was arrested at Zaman Park Naka. Sajjad Ali Khan escaped from police custody from Cantt Kachhari.
The police further said that the accused was arrested at Zaman Park Nake yesterday. Justice Muhammad Waheed Khan said that after coming to the knowledge of the court, he made the arrest. Why do you do such illegal things? The court asked the accused whether he used to escape from police custody, to which accused Sajjad replied that he had escaped from police custody.
The lawyer of the accused, Ishtiaq A. Khan, asked for permission to speak, on which the court said that what you have to plead now is to go and appear in remand. The court disposed of the request.
