Karachi: During the search operation in Old Golimar Jehanabad area of Shahr Quaid, the dangerous suspect involved in the martyrdom of policeman Adil was killed within a few hours.
According to police officials, an alleged encounter took place during a search operation in Old Golimar Jehanabad, in which Lyari gang war operative Imran alias Tada was killed in the exchange of fire.
According to the police, the slain accused belonged to the Lyari gang war group Jadgal state and was a key operative of the drug peddling gang.
According to SSP Kemari, a 9 mm pistol was recovered from the possession of the accused, while the search operation is on for the rest of his accomplices.
It should be noted that an officer of the Pak Colony Police Station was martyred in the firing of drug dealers in the old Golimar area of Pak Colony in the morning. After which the police cordoned off the area and started a search operation.
IG Sindh sought a report of the incident from SSP Kemari. According to the report, the deceased official got married a year ago and was the sole breadwinner of the house.
According to SSP Kemari Captain (retd) Faizan Ali, 4 policemen on 2 motorcycles were busy patrolling the area and during this time the police party reached the grassy street when the armed suspects saw the officials and opened fire as a result of which Pak Colony police station was attacked. 27-year-old constable Adil, 27, was hit by two bullets on his chest and shoulder and was critically injured, who succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
