The High Court granted bail to former MNA Sahibzada Sibghatullah and ordered her release.
A hearing was held on the application against the arrest of Sahibzada Sibghatullah. The hearing was conducted by a two-member bench consisting of Justice Syed Arshad Ali and Justice Dr. Khurshid Iqbal.
During the hearing, the lawyer for the petitioner, Alam Khan Adenzai Advocate, said that the former MNA was arrested late on August 5 under the 3MPO and since then the former MNA Sahibzada Sibghatullah has been in jail.
The AAG said that the petitioner gave a speech in the meeting after which he was arrested under 3MPO. Justice Syed Arshad Ali remarked that speaking is not a crime.
The court granted bail to former MNA Sahibzada Sibghatullah and suspended the 3MPO notification.
