Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) has issued notification of new prices of various medicines.
According to the Drape announcement, the new prices of medicines announced include injections, tablets, inhalers and syrups for various diseases.
The announcement said that the price limit of new salt, formulation, strength medicines has been fixed while the new price of blood pressure and blood vessel opening pills has been fixed.
According to the notification, the price of Lorica, a newly registered drug for cancer treatment, has been fixed at 846,857 rupees.
According to the announcement, the price of inhaler for asthma patients is 1390, while the price of hepatitis injection is 10 thousand 275.
The new price of 20 tablets of paracetamol and deephydraline is 192 while the price of chloroquine used in malaria has been fixed at 1 thousand 7 rupees.
According to the notification, the price of injectable bortezomib for cancer patients is Rs 17,513, while the price of Zerbexa, a drug used in infections, has been fixed at Rs 15,356.
