Ottawa: In Canada, the mayor of Toronto, John Tory, resigned from his position after admitting to having sex with his female staff.
According to the world news agency, the mayor of Toronto admitted to having sex with a 31-year-old woman on his staff, saying that the relationship between the two of us developed during the epidemic.
John Tory further said that this relationship lasted for a year but ended by mutual consent at the beginning of this year and the woman has also left the city.
Toronto Mayor John Tory did not name the woman, but after admitting his relationship, he not only resigned but also apologized to his wife and family.
“Shame on you for breaking the trust of your wife and family,” Tory said. I apologize for my actions which hurt the feelings of the family.
It should be noted that John Tory took over the post of mayor in 2014 and won the 2018 election as well. Now there will be a by-election for the mayor.
