The dollar closed around Rs 300 at the close of interbank trading.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), at the end of interbank business, the dollar rate is Rs 299 a paisa.
Today, the dollar rate has increased by 87 paise per rupee in the interbank.
At the close of business yesterday, the price of the dollar was 297 rupees 13 paise. The dollar has become expensive by 3 rupees 23 paise in two days.
In the open market, the dollar rose by Rs 2 to Rs 306.
