Mardan: A factory manufacturing fake medicines of multinational companies was caught

Charsadda: A major operation by the police and the health department, a fake medicine factory was caught on Ghani Khan Road.

According to Drug Inspector Charsada Sajjad Khan, fake antibiotic drugs of well-known multinational companies have been recovered from the factory. Antibiotics were being prepared from a mixture of glucose and starch by modern machines.

According to the drug inspector, a huge amount of packaging in the name of multinational companies has also been recovered from the factory. The police have arrested two employees from the factory.

Officials say that Augmentin and Velosafe medicines were manufactured in the factory and sent to Afghanistan and Punjab. The factory has been sealed and the machinery has been seized.
