Karachi: Top military leaders of more than 50 countries participated in the flag hoisting ceremony of the 8th multinational “Naval Exercise Aman 2023” at Pakistan Navy Dockyard.

On this occasion, Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi warmly welcomed the participants of “Peace Exercise 23” and said that Pakistan International Maritime Expo and Conference (PIIMEC) has started in Karachi. The exercise is a regular activity in which regional and global navies participate to create a safe and conducive maritime environment for uninterrupted maritime activities in the region.

In his message, the Naval Chief further emphasized that the Pakistan Navy is taking the lead in promoting joint maritime security in the region and building mutual cooperation in the region under the motto of the exercise “United for Peace”. is highlighted below.

The Naval Chief stressed that this bond will continue to grow and bring us closer to the goals of regional peace and shared prosperity. Speaking on the occasion, Commander Pakistan Fleet, Vice Admiral Owais Ahmed Bilgrami hoped that the exercise would be mutually beneficial for all.

It should be noted that the eighth exercise of the peace series “peace. 23” will continue from 10th to 14th February 2023. The exercise is an important activity of Pakistan Navy which is held every two years with the aim of demonstrating commitment to make the seas safe for positive humanitarian activities by inviting regional and global navies.

More than 50 countries are participating in this year’s peace exercise with ships, aircraft, special operations forces and a large number of observers.
