Renowned poet, writer, playwright Amjad Islam Amjad passed away today in Lahore.
Amjad Islam Amjad and Anwar Maqsood had 50 years together on TV, the two also had a deep friendship.
Anwar Maqsood speaking to private TV said that Amjad Islam Amjad always spoke about the country’s situation without coming under any pressure.
Anwar Maqsood further said that when the conditions of the country are like this, educated people are the first to leave.
He said that Amjad Islam Amjad had a very good sense of humor and he was a very sophisticated person.
