There is no doubt that physical exercise has many medical benefits, but a recent study found that walking 6,000 to 9,000 steps per day reduces the risk of heart attack in middle-aged people.
A recent study published in the journal Circulation revealed that people who walk 60 years or older have a reduced risk of heart disease.
For the aforementioned study, researchers studied 8 different studies, including more than 20,000 people over the age of 18, who were monitored for 6 years using a device to measure their walking. Based on these data, the researchers compiled the results.
Cardiovascular disease is usually associated with older age, so symptoms of the disease, including high blood pressure, obesity and diabetes, are not taken seriously in youth. However, in this study, people with more severe or accelerated Pacing did not provide any additional benefit.
Researchers had suggested walking 10,000 steps daily and according to the research done in this regard, people who walk 10,000 steps daily can control obesity and the level of depression also decreases.
