1286 personnel recruited for Karachi Police have been added to Traffic Police, out of which 1256 have joined.
New recruits were given initial and basic training in various offices of Karachi Traffic Police after which they were assigned to different districts.
The newly recruited personnel have been assigned to the sections of the Karachi Traffic Police where Muharram processions and assemblies will be held, while these personnel will also be posted on various security duties.
These officials are also being posted on duty at different places in Karachi during Muharram.
