Islamabad High Court has initiated contempt of court proceedings against police officers.
The court issued directions to prepare a contempt of court file against SP and SDPO.
Islamabad High Court Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri has issued orders in this regard.
It has been asked by the court to give a written answer why regular contempt of court proceedings should not be initiated and why disciplinary proceedings should not be initiated against you?
The Islamabad High Court adjourned further hearing of the case till August 3, directing the police officers to appear in person and submit their reply within 10 days.
Besides, the trial of the murder case was ordered by the court to be completed in 4 months.
