Lahore: Chairman PTI appeared before the Anti-Terrorism Court where he got bail extended.
Judge Abhar Gul of the Special Anti-Terrorism Court heard PTI chairman’s request for extension of interim bail in 5 cases including the Jinnah House attack. After PTI chairman appeared before the court, the interim bail was extended till August 8.
During the hearing, Special Prosecutor Farhad Ali Shah told the court that the police have completed the investigation of Chairman PTI. Chairman PTI has been found guilty in the investigation. The court extended interim bail till August 8 in 5 cases including Jinnah House attack, arson and vandalism, while summoning the lawyers for the next hearing.
It should be noted that cases have been registered against PTI chairman in Sarwar Road, Gulbarg, Shadman and other police stations.
Meanwhile, the Anti-Terrorism Court Lahore heard the interim bail application of Shah Mahmood Qureshi in 3 cases including Jinnah House, Askari Tower attacks. Duty Judge Abhar Gul extended interim bail till August 8 in the three cases of Shah Mehmood Qureshi while calling the lawyers for arguments.
It should be remembered that cases have been registered against Shah Mehmood Qureshi in Sarwar Road, Gulbarg and Race Course police stations.
Apart from this, a hearing on Asad Umar’s interim bail application in the Askari Tower arson and vandalism case was also held in the Anti-Terrorism Court. The court ordered Asad Umar to be investigated in the Jinnah House and Legi office burning cases and also sought the records of other cases at the next hearing and extended his bail till August 8.
It should be noted that the cases against Asad Umar are registered in Gulbarg, Model Town and Sarwar Road police stations.
