The Saudi Supreme Court has confirmed that the month of Dhul-Hijj has been completed today, Tuesday.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Supreme Court says that Wednesday, July 19, is the 1st of Muharram 1445.
The Saudi Supreme Court said in a statement that “An attempt was made to see the moon of Muharram of the new Hijri year on Monday, July 17, 2023 (29 Dhu al-Hijjah).”
According to the Supreme Court, on the basis of lack of evidence regarding the sighting of the crescent, it was decided that Tuesday will be the 30th of Zul Hijjah, while the month of Muharram 1445 Hijri will begin on Wednesday.
