Lahore: The provincial government has taken a principled decision to introduce plastic roads in Punjab and Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has also called for a plan in this regard.

A road made by mixing plastic in tar is more durable than conventional tar road and does not break easily.

137 road rehabilitation projects covering 2600 km long are under completion across Punjab and all road construction project contracts are being awarded through e-tendering.

Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has set a target of completing 107 inter-district road construction projects in three months and directed to ensure transparency and high quality in these projects.
