Peshawar: Preparations are underway to launch a separate party named “Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Parliamentarians” on the part of former Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak, for which the name and flag of the party have been chosen.

According to the sources, meetings have been held with important personalities in Islamabad and Peshawar in connection with the establishment of a separate party by the former chief minister and the consultation process is still ongoing. Preparations are also being made to bring the party to the field.

Sources say that Pervez Khattak will announce the formation of his own party if he does not join any other party, for which he has chosen the name of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Parliamentarians. And the party flag consisting of white color has been chosen.

Sources have said that the former chief minister can make a final decision during this week, in which if he does not join any other party, he will formally announce the establishment of his own separate party, for which he will communicate with former members of parliament. While his contacts with some other political figures are also ongoing.

It has also been reported that he is in contact with the members of the Provincial Assembly who changed their party loyalties in the Senate elections in the previous era of PTI and also with the candidates who could not get the PTI ticket during the previous elections. was

It should be noted that former Chief Minister Pervez Khattak, whose uncle Nasrullah Khattak has also been the Chief Minister of the province, has spent most of his time in the PPP. He joined justice.

Parvez Khattak was elected the party’s central general secretary after losing the party’s provincial chairmanship election to former speaker Asad Qaiser, while he was its provincial president at the time of his separation from the party. He was the Chief Minister of the province from 2013 to 2018 and the Federal Minister of Interior from 2018 to 2022.
