The price of one tola of gold fell below Rs 2 lakh

The price of gold dropped to Rs 198,000 per tola

Karachi: The impact of the devaluation of the dollar has also started to set in on local gold prices.

Despite rising by $11 per ounce to $1,880 in the international bullion market, the prices of gold per tola and per 10 grams fell further by Rs 2,000 and Rs 1,715 respectively in local bullion markets on Wednesday.

As a result, the price of gold per tola decreased to 198,000 rupees and the price of ten grams of gold decreased to 169,753 rupees in the bullion markets of Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Multan, Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta.

Similarly, the price of silver per tola decreased by Rs. 60 to Rs. 2170 and the price of ten grams of silver also decreased by Rs. 51.44 to Rs. 1860.42.
