Karachi: K Electric is committed to providing clean, affordable and sustainable energy to its more than 3.4 million customers, including other Pakistanis.
K Electric Chief Executive Officer Syed Munis Abdullah Alvi and China Three Gorges South Asia Investment Limited (CTGSAIL) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Wang Minsheng for renewable energy projects in various regions of the country including Azad Jammu and Kashmir. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed.
The two companies will strategize for the installation of battery energy storage systems on large grids in K Electric’s network, China Three Gorges South Asia Investment Limited (CTGSAIL) is a subsidiary of China Three Gorges International Corporation (CTGI), a subsidiary of China Three Gorges International Corporation (CTGI). Gorges Corporation (CTG) is an international trading platform.
The company is focused on investing, developing and operating clean energy projects in more than 40 countries. O Munis Alvi said that this MoU is a milestone for Karachi and its customers.
CTGSAIL CEO Wang Minsheng said that this is another step of CTGSAIL towards clean energy, better Pakistan.
