A historic and valuable building owned by the Pakistani embassy in the US capital Washington has been sold.
The building had been vacant since 2003 after it became the new embassy, which was in a dilapidated state, with its special status withdrawn.
The government of Pakistan had to pay millions of dollars in taxes for this building.
The building was put up for auction, selling for $7.1 million.
The building was previously valued at $6.8 million.
The historic and valuable building owned by the Pakistani Embassy was bought by Pakistani-American businessman Hafeez Khan.
