Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that efforts are being made to ensure that the country’s foreign exchange reserves are between 14 and 15 billion dollars by the end of the current government’s term.
Talking to Geo News program today with Shahzeb Khanzada, he said that the reserves with the State Bank should be between 9 to 10 billion dollars.
He further said that thanks to Allah, things are going in the right direction, it would be too much to think of violating the IMF agreement.
Ishaq Dar said that the country paid the price for the violation of the IMF agreement by the previous government, there is no reason why the caretaker government cannot complete the IMF program successfully.
