Karachi: 28 workers of MQM London were arrested for holding a rally in Korangi.
According to Express News, the crackdown against the workers of MQM London is continuing in the city, Korangi district police have so far arrested 28 workers in the case registered in Zaman Town.
According to police sources, a rally was organized by MQM London workers in Zaman Town Police Station in which 10 to 15 people on motorcycles took out a rally and shouted slogans in favor of MQM London. After that, law enforcement agencies swung into action and started making arrests.
In the ongoing crackdown against MQM London workers for the last two days, 28 workers have been arrested so far and a case has also been registered against them in Zaman Town police station.
On the other hand, the West Zone Police has also started a crackdown against the activists of MQM London and so far 5 activists have been detained.
According to police sources, political activists arrested from West Zone have been arrested on the tip of the law enforcement agencies, the arrested activists are involved in anti-Pakistan propaganda on social media.
Earlier, a case was registered in Zaman Town police station for taking out a rally, 39 persons were named and 40 to 50 unidentified persons were named in the case filed under other provisions including rioting and rioting.
According to the text of the case, around 80 to 90 people on motorcycles and vehicles blocked the road near Korangi Crossing Main Bus Stop and chanted slogans in support of the founder of MQM London. Attempted efforts led to more chanting and commotion.
