In Punjab’s Jhelum, a three-storey building collapsed due to a cylinder explosion, dead bodies and injured were pulled out from the debris, the investigation of the incident is ongoing.
Eyewitnesses say that the explosion occurred due to gas leakage and cigarette, the shop owner was standing outside smoking a cigarette after filling the cylinder.
The citizen says that there was a hotel store and a cylinder filling shop in the basement of the three-storey building, a photo studio, a laundry shop and a hotel on the ground floor of the building.
The citizen says that there were five living rooms on the upper floor of the building, the washerman died in the cylinder explosion, his son gave the details of the incident to the authorities.
The district administration says that the owner of the cylinder shop is still missing and the operation is going on to find him.
Police say that the number of dead in the incident has reached 7.
