On the call of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the people of Pakistan are protesting with one voice over the heartbreaking incident of desecration of the Quran.
In this regard, demonstrations are being held in big and small cities of the country and protest rallies are being held.
Lawyers also staged a protest outside the Supreme Court in the federal capital, Islamabad.
In Gujranwala, the Christian community also participated in the protest, while in Faisalabad today, lawyers went on strike.
In Multan, Jamaat-e-Islami’s labor wing took out a rally to protect the holy Quran from Eidgah to Chowk Kachhari and strongly condemned the incident in Sweden.
In Sargodha, lawyers took out a protest rally from the district barroom against the Sweden incident.

The Karachi Bar Association boycotted the court proceedings on the Sweden incident due to which the cases were not heard in the district courts today.
Students and teachers of Federal Urdu University also protested in Shahr-e-Quaid.

Protest rallies were also held in Chagai and Nushki districts of Balochistan province.
