Principal beaten up for installing hidden camera in bathroom, video surfaced

After catching a hidden camera installed in the bathroom of a school in the Indian state of Maharashtra, students along with activists of the Hindu extremist organization Bajrang Dal beat up the principal.

According to local media, school students and Bajrang Dal activists alleged that the principal was installing a hidden camera in the girls’ bathroom.

In a video circulating on social media, a mob of 25 to 30 people can be seen chasing the principal inside the school premises and beating him up. Meanwhile, the principal’s clothes were also torn.

After the incident, the management of the Pune-based school issued a statement denying the claim of installing a hidden camera. The management said that the principal was tough, he was subjected to torture under a plan.

On the other hand, students and Hindu extremist organization activists also alleged that the principal belonged to the Christian religion and often forced the students to take Christian education.

After registering a case, the police started investigating the matter, but no arrests have been made so far.
