Islamabad: The Election Commission issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Fawad Chaudhry.
The contempt election commission case against former federal information minister Fawad Chaudhry was heard, in which the election commission issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Fawad Chaudhry.
A 5-member commission headed by the Chief Election Commissioner heard the case, in which Fawad Chaudhry’s assistant counsel appeared before the Election Commission and requested to adjourn the case.
During the hearing, the Islamabad police officer said that I went to Fawad Chaudhry’s residence to execute the warrant, where his brother Faisal Chaudhry was found and he said that there are political cases against him, we did not find him either. .
Member Election Commission inquired whether Fawad Chaudhry has come? He has not come himself nor has he given any request for exception. To which the assistant counsel replied that today the counsel for the Election Commission has to give arguments in the High Court. Adjourn the case as the High Court will decide in a couple of days.
The Election Commission rejected the plea made by the Assistant Advocate Fawad Chaudhry and issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Fawad Chaudhry in the contempt of Election Commission case. The Election Commission postponed the hearing of the contempt commission case against Fawad Chaudhry till July 20.
