Peshawar: The police have arrested a suspicious Afghan citizen from Hayatabad area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, from whose possession uniform and weapons of a sensitive institution have been recovered.
According to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police, during the blockade in Peshawar Hayatabad, when the officials tried to stop the vehicle, the driver fled the vehicle, after which the police chased and stopped him.
During the search, uniform of a sensitive organization, weapons, liquor bottles, drugs and fake number plates were recovered from the vehicle.
According to the police, the arrested accused was identified as Tamim, who is an Afghan resident. A case has been registered against the accused and the investigation has been started, in which there is a possibility of important revelations.
