Karachi: More than 12 valuable sacrificial animals of huge value were stolen from a cattle farm located near Superhighway Wadi Hussain graveyard in Malir Cantt.
According to details, more than 12 valuable sacrificial animals were stolen from Mohammadi Cattle Farm located near Superhighway Wadi Hussain Graveyard in Malir Cat Police Station area. The incident of stealing the sacrificial animal took place in the early hours of Sunday morning. The theft of the sacrificial animal was reported to Malir Cantt police station but no immediate case was registered.
In this regard, SHO Malir Cantt Tariq Rahim said that according to the owner of the cattle farm, Malik Shahroz, 10 to 12 armed suspects entered the cattle farm early on Sunday morning and attacked a security guard, watchman and sacrificial animals in the cattle farm. They took the fodder employee hostage at gunpoint and stole the valuable sacrificial animals and fled in a Mazda truck.
He said that the cattle farm is established on three acres of land and no adequate security arrangements were made, the outer walls of the cattle farm are also small and there are no CCTV cameras installed in the cattle farm nor the cattle farm. There is a lighting system around.
According to Malik Shahroz, the owner of the cattle farm, the number of stolen animals was 12 with the value of one to one and a half crore rupees. According to the owner, they are going to register a case at the police station.
According to an employee of Cattle Farm, around 4:00 PM, 12 to 13 armed accused entered the Cattle Farm and took the employees hostage at gunpoint, dragged them and tied them with ropes to the door and tortured them. . The armed suspects brought two vehicles and a motorcycle at intervals and loaded the animals and fled, among the stolen animals were 12 large animals and a goat.
According to the police, the investigation into the theft of sacrificial animals from the cattle farm has been started.
