Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz directed to restore Wikipedia immediately.
According to the details, the Prime Minister gave this directive on the recommendation of a three-member ministerial committee. The committee consisted of Law Minister, Economic Affairs Minister and Information Minister.
The Prime Minister constituted another committee headed by IT Minister and Telecom Minister. Law Minister, Information Minister, Commerce Minister and Communications Minister will also join the committee.
Apart from this, the TORs of the committee were also issued, the committee will review the PTA’s action to block Wikipedia. The committee will also recommend other ways to remove objectionable content from Wikipedia.
