Karachi: A citizen’s unique protest over the non-supply of water, climbed the high-tension electricity tower and announced suicide.
Near Sabri Chowk area of Orangi Town, a citizen named Ishaq climbed the high tension tower on which a large number of local residents gathered there while Mominabad police also reached the spot.
According to the police, Ishaq’s brother who climbed the electricity tower was also called there who said that his brother was suffering from psychological problems, during which the power to the high tension line was also disconnected.
The police and the residents of the area took down Ishaq, who climbed the electricity tower, after a discussion, which the police took with him to the police station, and the police intend to take legal action in this regard.
