Rawalpindi: After five years, the verdict in the case of murderous attack on Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Zafar Mehmood Shah from PP-16 has come.
According to Express News, Additional Sessions Judge Rawalpindi Mohammad Waris Javed pronounced the verdict of the case, in which the criminal Majid Khan has also been sentenced to a fine of 785 thousand 312 rupees.
It should be noted that the accused Ali Muhammad and Majid Khan had fired on the leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami in July 2018, Youth President Habibullah Khan was killed on the spot and Syed Zafarshah was seriously injured.
The main accused in the case, Ali Muhammad, was sentenced to death by the court earlier, but Majid Khan was absconding, a case was registered under the provisions of attempted murder and other provisions in Ratta Amaral police station.
