Bollywood’s versatile actor Sunil Shetty says that when he joined Bollywood, it was common practice to adopt a flamboyant lifestyle.
He said that because of my middle-class background, I was trained to spend money with long-term goals in mind.
He said that my wife Mana Shetty also thinks like this.
Sunil Shetty said that my family’s lifestyle was very basic and simple, we didn’t have much but enough to meet our needs.
“We didn’t have the luxuries we have today and we don’t appreciate them, but my parents, through their lifestyle and work, taught me and my sisters the importance of saving and building a future,” he said.
Sunil said that complacency is ingrained in our nature, even after dad’s income became very good, there were no major changes in our lifestyle.
He said that father already worked beyond his capacity to give us the best education, the real change was that we changed houses.
