Police arrested the duo who stole 8 crore rupees by drinking syrup

According to Indian media reports, Mandeep Kaur and her husband Jaswinder Singh, the ringleader of the robbery at the cash management firm’s office in Ludhiana, have been arrested from Uttarakhand.

The duo, with the help of armed robbers, stole Rs 8 crore in cash from the cash management firm’s office on June 10, injuring security guards.

According to Ludhiana Police Commissioner Mandeep Singh Sidhu, Mandeep Kaur and Jaswinder Singh arrived at Hemkund Sahib, a Sikh place of worship, to express gratitude for the successful robbery.

According to the police, the couple involved in the robbery of Rs 8 crore were going to flee to Nepal but due to a notice issued to arrest them, they had to change their plan and decided to go to Hemkund Sahib, Kedarnath and Haridwar. To thank you for the success of your heist.

Police said they had already received information about his presence at Hemkund Sahib, but it was a big challenge to identify him in the crowd of devotees, for which a plan was made to distribute free syrup.

Under this project stalls were planned to distribute various fruit flavored drinks to all the devotees.

Police said that as expected, the couple also visited this stall and took their favorite drink and lowered their masks to drink it, when our plainclothes officers recognized them.

However, the police officers chased them after completing their worship and arrested them.

According to the police, an amount of Rs 21 lakh was recovered from the possession of the couple on the spot, while a total of Rs 6 crore has been recovered out of Rs 8 crore.

Police said that they have arrested 9 accused in this case in less than 100 hours, investigation is going on with them.
