Governor Punjab Muhammad Balighur Rahman has given permission to recruit homeopathic doctors in government hospitals.
The notification issued in this regard states that homeopathic doctors should be recruited on the vacant seats as per the rules and policy.
The delegation of National Council for Homeopathy has met Governor Punjab Muhammad Balighur Rehman.
During the meeting, the delegation drew the attention of Governor Punjab to the vacant seats of homeopathic doctors in government hospitals.
The delegation was of the opinion that the seats of homeopathic doctors in district, tehsil and teaching hospitals, rural health units and primary health centers are vacant.
The delegation of the National Council for Homeopathy says that the population is deprived of alternative treatment methods.
The delegation also said that most of the people of Punjab rely on homeopathic treatment.
