Sudan, warring parties agree on ceasefire for 72 hours

The army and paramilitary forces in Sudan have agreed to a 72-hour ceasefire.

According to Saudi media, the implementation of the ceasefire agreement will begin from 18 to 21 June from 6 am.

It should be noted that 17 people were killed in an airstrike in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan, yesterday.

According to the Sudanese authorities, 5 children were among those killed in the airstrikes.

25 houses were destroyed in the southern part of the city by the airstrikes.

It should be noted that hundreds of people have died in the ongoing war in Sudan, while 2.2 million have been displaced.

Clashes between Sudan’s army and paramilitary forces have been ongoing since April 15.
