Islamabad: The Sighting of the Crescent Committee called a meeting to see the moon of Dhul-Hijjah 1444 Hijri.
According to the spokesperson of Rawit Hilal Committee, the main meeting will be held in Karachi on Monday, June 19 under the chairmanship of Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad.
Similarly, on June 19, meetings of zonal committees will also be held in different areas including Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar.
The zonal committees will send a report to the central committee regarding the sighting of the moon, while the announcement of the sighting of the moon will be made by the Chairman Rawat Hilal Committee. After which, according to tradition, a notification will also be issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
The meeting will be attended by experts from Meteorological Department, SPARCO officials and members of the Royat Hilal Committee.
