Murtaza Wahab, candidate for mayor of Karachi of People’s Party has said that we are close to victory, God willing we will win.
Talking to the media, he said that a dinner was organized for the members, all our 173 members were present in the dinner.
People’s Party candidate for mayor of Karachi said that he is grateful to all the members who have assured their support.
He added that we will fulfill our number in the House, Hafiz! Losing and winning is part of politics, don’t spoil the environment.
Murtaza Wahab also said that the election process should not be made controversial, we all have a priority to develop, God willing we will develop this city.
It should be noted that today Arts Council Karachi is holding elections for Mayor and Deputy Mayor.
Jamaat-i-Islami’s candidate for Mayor Karachi is Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman and People’s Party’s candidate is Murtaza Wahab.
Syed Saifuddin of Jamaat-i-Islami, while Salman Murad of People’s Party is the candidate for the Deputy Mayor of Karachi.
