Lahore: 4 passengers died in a traffic accident near Faizpur on M3 motorway.
According to Express News, a passenger bus met with a traffic accident near Faizpur on Motorway M3, as a result of which 4 passengers died on the spot while 3 were seriously injured.
Spokesperson of the Motorway Police says that the passenger bus from Kot Addo to Lahore met with an accident due to the negligence of the driver, however, under the supervision of Sector Commander SP Chaudhary Atta, the relief activities of the Motorway Police are continuing and the Motorway Police has provided assistance to the injured and the dead. Has been transferred to hospital.
On the other hand, caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has expressed regret over the loss of precious human lives, he expressed his heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of the deceased and directed to provide the best treatment facilities to the injured persons in the accident. While doing so, he asked for a report about the accident, while he also ordered action against the driver as per the law for negligence.
