Karachi: In Sohrab Goth area of Shahr Quaid, two police personnel were martyred by firing by unknown persons near Indus Plaza.
According to Express News, the accused on a motorcycle fired indiscriminately at the officers on patrol in the area, as a result of which both died on the spot, after which their bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for post-mortem. .
According to the police officials, the martyred officers were identified as Rehmat and Hakeem, out of which one officer received three bullets while the other received one bullet.
After the incident, a heavy contingent of police and rangers reached the spot and sealed the crime scene and collected the evidence.
According to the police officials, the investigation related to the incident is going on and the nature of the matter is being looked into.
