A meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) parliamentary committee was held in the Senate under the chairmanship of Shahzad Waseem. A unanimous resolution against the May 9 incidents was passed in the PTI Parliamentary Party meeting.
The text of PTI’s resolution said that it strongly condemns the events of May 9. These incidents should be investigated transparently and the perpetrators should be punished.
The resolution further said that desecration of martyrs’ memorials, damage to national property and attacks on defense installations are unacceptable.
According to the resolution, strong armed forces are essential to deal with the challenges facing Pakistan’s security.
According to the text of the PTI resolution, there is a relationship of love and trust between the people of Pakistan and the forces of Pakistan. All actions and narratives that create a rift in this relationship are rejected.
It has been said in the text of the resolution that we express our solidarity with the families of the martyrs.
