In Peshawar Institute of Cardiology, a successful heart operation has been performed on a child without chest compressions.
According to Peshawar Institute of Cardiology (PIC) spokesman Rafat Anjum, the heart valve of the patient has been replaced without cutting.
Peds Cardiologist Prof. Dr. Ijaz has said in this regard that 3 surgeries of the above-mentioned patient child had already been done in different hospitals of Pakistan and India.
He has further stated that after these surgeries, the valve that supplies blood to the child’s lungs stopped working.
Professor Dr. Ijaz has also stated that the risk was high in the child’s open heart surgery.
